2 Become 1..

Rob and Megan had a perfectly casual Savannah wedding with "classic but kinda mod" vibes. One of my favorite memories of their wedding day was while Megan was having her hair and makeup done. Her female family members surrounded her as they all prepared for the big day. They shared stories of love and family, and Megan shared the story of Rob's proposal. It felt warm and like THE most divine feminine energy in a sacred space of ceremonial preparation. I was utterly obsessed with Megan's monogrammed hair ribbon and sensible stacked heel ballet flats. Urban Poppy nailed the classic and understated vibe with an all white bouquet featuring daisies. Davenport House Garden provided an insulated and private ceremony location for friends and family. A walled garden ceremony is truly Savannah wedding style. Behind the curled iron gate, Megan and Rob exchanged tearful, emotional vows in front of their loved ones. A laid back soiree continued at Cha Bella in their own walled garden, featuring swings that even grownups could enjoy! Megan made her entry in her reception attire, a beautiful corseted mini dress from Staud and delicate fingerless gloves dotted in pearls. The couple practices veganism, and it was important to them to ensure that their vegan friends have plenty to eat. Cha Bella provided a beautiful array of vegan and farm to table options on the buffet. The desserts were provided and made with love by friends and family. When they booked me, Megan and Rob expressed that the absolute most important photos to them, were those of their friends and family dancing the night away. And I was happy to oblige. Cha Bella seamlessly transformed into a nightclub, full of indie jams and sweaty out of breath guests. Another favorite recollection was Megan and Rob on the Cha Bella dance floor. They both danced with total abandon, throwing their entire selves into the rhythm. Somehow they were surrounded by their people, all dancing and having the best time, but simultaneously the only people in the room. Their connection and absolute joy and excitement could be felt. Thank you Megan and Rob for asking me to document the story of your wedding day.
